Default Time for a tranny?

I've done my research and can't find a definitive answer.

The 48re is shifting funny in my 05.
1-2 is slightly harsh most of the time
2-3 usually seems good.
3-4 seems to slip or rpm flare up during the shift. Doesn't happen every time. More so when I'm a bit heavier on the throttle or pulling my 4000lb trailer.

Happens in tow/haul as well

Just installed a borg Warner governor pressure solenoid and transducer.

Adjusted rear band while I was in there, front band was done not too long ago.

Time for a rebuild?

thanks in advance!
