Transmissionor transfer case?
Ok guys I will admit I know next to nothing when it comes to drivetrain issues so anyones help would be greatly appreciated. 2006 ram 2500 5.9 48re transmission . after leaving my hunting spot last week I got into the throttle a bit and trying to clean the mud off my tires .Well of course my rpms went up but that's because it was slipping I think ..for a while I've been hearing a rubbing sound when I slow down under 15mph and feel the same at high speeds over 75 mph. The truck has tons of power in reverse but nothing in any forward gears. I hear a bit of a clunk when I put it in reverse but that's the front drive shaft at the t case I can see the joint is bad. The truck has a reman jasper transmisiion in it I've put 40000 miles on the truck and the reman was in it when I got it. The truck now has 133k on it ..i have a bullydog tuner on it as well ..i do pull a 10000lb camper a few times a year. Help please lead me in the right direction if you can .
