Hi everyone need an opinion on 05 3500 5.9L cummins with tru-flow aftermarket cold air intake. Need an update to something better>:pca1:

I've been happy with my afe stage 2 setup- easy to install and let's is breath easy- its my understanding as long as you go with a dry filter you will be good!

keep it stock unless you plan to go over 500 HP. you wont gain anything from an aftermarket intake.

That is true- only thing under that HP it'll help is buying replacement filters since most you can give a bath, dry, then reinstall. It will give you more turbo noise especially if your silencer is out also

Ok, I have a 03 Cummins, 6 spd, dually-- installed a AFE cold air-- we dinoed it before and after-- we gained 18 horses to the ground.

how many pulls did you do with each intake system on there. what condition was the air filter that you took off? if it really was an 18 HP gain, how much did that little gain cost?
