2006 5.9 mega cab
New to the diesel game bought this truck a month or so ago with 131,000 miles on it. It has a built trans with a lock torque converter in it. Also has a quadzilla runner on it with the nob for different stages. Just wondering what I need to keep an eye on and what I need to do to make sure everything is in perfect working order. I love my truck and I just want to make sure I do everything my pocket book will let me do so she will last me a long time

that would scare me,whyd they get rid of it to begin with?if i didnt know the previous owner well id start from scratch on a virgin truck.just my .02 👍

Yeah I know what that's like hahahaha I love it though man I love the sound of that 5.9 from 1200 to 2300 rpm sounds great :tu:

Get gauges to keep an eye on temps- trans, pyro, boost minimum. Ditch quadzilla and tune with EFI! Built trans is great- beware of the HP big it's an expensive diesase!
|
How do I do the gauges and all. What will it cost for me to loose the quadzilla and run efi what's a good company for efi
|
i heard alot about efi for cummins an spade.i have a smarty jr
