Schwitzer turbos???
I've got a guy that has schwitzer s1 and s2 turbos set up as twins on his 2007 cummins. He wants to sell them to me to put on my 04.5 cummins. The thing is I can't hardly find any info on these. Can anyone give some input on these or has anyone ran this setup personally? Any info would be great. Thanks.

i have never heard of them and i would pass on them just because of the lack of info on them.

I can't really pass up the price he's offering though. I'll probably just buy them to sell if there's no info on anyone else running this setup. It does seem to work good on his truck though. I've never road in it, but he can smoke his 35 " duallies no problem.

B1 B2? S3 S4?
Throw out a part # and I will see what I can find for you. Schwitzer /Borg Warner have history. |
I am sure you have heard of the s300 and s360 turbos, that is Shwitzer. They merged with BW but all that experience is there.
A good share of the performance turbos out there are built off the S series platform. Go for it. |

If you want to know what specs you need compressor inducer\exducer size, turbine inducer\exducer size, housing size and A\R for both. It is obvious they work well and would probably work great on yours but you won't know the range of power they are suited for without the specs. |
Schwitzer also built the turbos for the 1980 and up Piper Arrows and Seneca aircraft. never heard of anything bad about the on the aircraft I worked on. seems like its spelled switzer though for some reason?

Look at the center section and look for tag with a 6 digit # like 171702
