Airdog 200 gph too much?

Found an airdog 200 gph for cheap. Thought I'd buy it as a backup as my ad150 is about 10 years old. Is the 200 going to be too much for my truck?

Depends on what tune you run your truck and injector size. Do you have upgraded sticks? Didn't see it in your sig. If you're interested in selling I'm on the market for one- I'm running 100hp injectors

Definitely overkill, but it will work just for the fact that any unused fuel flow just recirculates back to the tank. Pressure will be the same as the 150. I would sell it and get what you want. It would make a good transfer pump for a fuel transfer tank :humm:.
How cheap is it?

Sorry for the delayed response. I realize it's bigger than what I need. I just figured mine is the first version of the Airdogg and it's kinda old. This one is a II and it's only got 500-600 miles through it. I ended up paying less than half the price of new.

Also I do have a little bit bigger injectors. Just installed bbi stage 1's. Usually run the jr on 1, and the tst on 1-3 or 3-3. I've tried 5-3 but never higher than that in fear of blowing up the turbo.

Cool thing about the airdog 2 is it has a regulator integral on the pump block. I like this for using on the lower pressure trucks like the 2003 and up.

If you want to help out a fellow bomber and sell it to me i would appreciate it! I've been on the market for one for a while and haven't pulled the trigger yet- Name your price! :fly:

Haha. I'd love to help you out but I'll probably put it on my truck if it's adjustable. I might sell my the Airdogg 150 that it will be replacing.

The Airdog 2 is adjustable on the side. does your look like this one?

Yep that's the one I have. I see where its adjustable. How do I know where to adjust it to though? It's not like my vp44 truck where I just watch my gauge until I get to the 15lb-20lb of pressure I want. Or would I go off of fuel rail pressure?
