Where to start...?
 

Now that I've got my truck, I'm ready to start doin mods. I reckon I want to start with performance before cosmetics, but I have no clue where to start on this beast. I'm not lookin to out pull every cummins out there. I just want a little more get up and torque. Any suggestions on good parts/overrides to start with??
Any knowledge at all is much obliged. I'm tryin to learn all I can!

Just realized, would I have better luck in the engine room? Or is this best posted here, bein that it is a cummins?

Well Looks like I'm on the right track! Got the gauges. Now read I shall!

X2 on the gauges then next fuel pump upgrade. Fass pumps are good. Next a simple programmer like edge ez, fresh air intake, injectors, transmission upgrade,then turbo and on and on.

I've got gauges and cold air intake already. Plus exhaust. But since it's a six speed, should I start with the tranny? Or can it hold up with a tuner??
