5.9 Turbo oil return line

Noticed that my oil return line directly under the turbo was saturated- not leaking real bad but noticeably black when installing my new A/C compressor. Dealer had a gasket for $7.79. It is easy to access from underneath with an extension but I was wondering how much if any oil will come out after disconnecting it? Should I wait until I change my oil and have it drained? Any wisdom would be appreciated!:tu:

There wont be a lot.
Put a pan under it and catch the little that comes out.

Nothing will come out that's a DRAIN Gravity nothing to stop it. Unless it's running when you take it off! Remember the other end has a o-ring.

Thanks for the help! I Let it sit in the driveway for about an hr before I removed the bolts. There was no gasket on my return for some reason. Now there is and all cleaned up! :yeah::dixie:
