03 04 05 ram 3500 2wd leveling kit install

Just finished the leveling kit on my 04 3500 cummins 2WD and have to say it was extremely easy WAY easer than I thought it would be. I used a 3in kit from supreme suspension that I got off eBay for 99$ shipped. Great kit for what it is ie just 2 rubber spacers lol. From what I have read they all come from the same factory they just slap a diffrent name on them. As for the install for the novice wrencher don't be worried it is very easy to do BUT if your doing it on an older truck like mine you should plan on spending a little extra $$$ when you do it. New shocks and probably sway bar end links is what I had to do because the nuts where rusted on. As far as time wise all said and done it took me about 4 hours between getting the torches out to cut nuts off and running to the parts store for said parts and actually putting the spacers in. I did not have to use longer shocks as some people say by the time you get the weight of the truck on them there is plenty of travle. Maybe a little light on the up travle but keep in mind it is a 1 ton 2wd truck your not going to run the baja 1000 with it. As for the hight it is perfect I gained about 2 3/4 in from the top of the tire to the wheel well there is still some "rake" so when you get some weight on the back it should level out. I am extremely extremely glad I went with 3 in vs 2 1/2. With all that said if your wondering how high to go and worried weather you can do it or not if you have even a little mechanical ability you can do it. As for hight I'm happy I went with 3 in. But like I said unless you have a new truck plan on some extra parts honestly I should of done breaks and maybe a ball joint as long as I had it that far but I dident. Hope this helps anyone looking to do the same thing I did. I will try and post pics once I can figure it out.
