did you drain the coolant when you replaced yours? if so do you know roughly how much you needed to refill.. i cant imagine ill need all of the capacity. |
Well, I have a rather large "mechanic's syringe" that I used to suck all of the coolant out of the radiator, and transfered it to a large clean "Home Depot" plastic bucket. I guess you could also just drain the radiator through the drain valve. My yard was rather muddy and I didnt want to get under my truck to open the valve, so I did it with that syringe gizmo.
Its also a good time to flush and change the coolant and t-stat while your at it.......if it needs it tho. |
coolant looks fresh. and tstat works just fine. although i did consider doing it all at once. just .. to be done with it.
hmm i do have a mecanics syringe / fluid transfer pump... :humm: |
Yep. That thing...........
