Clunking noise right side tire area
Every time I am coasting I can here a constant clunking noise as the tire is spinning, and when I press the brake the noise will stop until I let off the brake then it will start again. I have had people say ball joints, which my ball joints are a little loose but nothing major. I was thinking wheel bearing, but I don't understand why the noise stops when I hit the brake, so that makes me lean towards the brake pad/caliper hanging up. Any suggestions?

You have 4 wheel drive?
Loose sloppy brake pad?
Check the torque on the brake caliper and bracket assembly and see if the pad wiggles
probably not the same, but my girlfriends brothers jetta had this EXACT same issue, turns out the rotor was garbage and had rusted & warped in a few spots, hope ya figure it out! :c:

Brake hardware on the caliper is no good. Check the brakes if they are bad replace them and the brake hardware. If the brakes are good just replace the hardware.
