for some reason my sig is not updating my new truck but i have a 07 cummins with a 5.9 and a 6 speed ppe tuner and a few other mods.

but anyways there are no codes present but when i am driving normal there is no issue but when i want to have some fun and start running it hard and grabbing gears i will let out on the throttle between gears and push the clutch and the engine will continue to rev up past redline up to about 3500 rpm. one of my friends has a similar truck and his did the same sort of a thing is this normal or is there a issue? if its normal is there a way to stop it from happening?

 

The CR's are not going to back off like a jerk when you liftt off the throttle and when you unload the engine bu cluthcing it the rpms will jump. That said some tuners and certain tunes will make this worse.
