Default trans rebuild advice

so i need advice ive got a 05 2500 with a stock trans sitting at 188000 at the moment never rebuilt im looking to do a rebuild it cause i can feel its on its last legs i have not had any problems yet with it but 3rd and 4th gears are starting to act up and ive got the money to do a rebuild so here is where i need help. Im stationed in alaska and i do alot of toy hauling and mid to heavy weight trailers all hitch pulls so far but ive pressed my luck a few times with a 14k trailer once i know not a good idea. so i ask you guys out there ive got a 5k budget give me an idea of what for my use i should add to a basic rebuild keep in mind a oem level rebuild is $2850 out the door. Thanks ahead of time for all the help

5k will get you a goerend tranny built. Billet input with a torque converter, clutches, valvebody, and deep pan.

Ship it down to Utah to RKL Diesel and Ryan can build you a bang good towing trans that will hold about 600-750 hp. He does really good work and is a bad a** dude! He builds Bully Dog's race truck trans and they have great results with it.

Hell----------DO IT YOUR SELF, it isn`t rocket science. Just take you time and seek guidance/tech manual etc..
There is PLENTY of info out there.
I followed(sp) Cereberism`s advice---all is well.
single billet lo stal TC,valve body shift kit, HD clutches and steels, billet anchors, HD servos etc.
Been nearly 2 years of pulling my 12k fiver over the Rockies many times.
I wish I could remember it all-sorry
If the advice comes from Mcdonogh ,Ga-----LISTEN and learn.
Sorry, just my .02
YOU are your warranty...........................
