problems with a 06 1500

I know this is more of a diesel site but I am having problems with a 06 1500 making a loaded bang when disengaging 4wd I see that the front axle engages as well as the transfer case. To me it's not rite but have read that it is some what common on these trucks. CAN ANYONE HELP ME. Have change both cv joint because they were shot and the stub axle coming out of the diff on the left side to
