Brake Question?

I just noticed that when I am sitting stopped or almost at a stop(3-5 mph) the brake pedal is tapping slightly at the bottom of my foot? Then i noticed when stopped during idle, the pedal was tappping rhythmically(sp?) at my foot, its not a hard tap but it is noticable. I cant quite tell if the tapping is in sync with the idle or even smal bumps in the road as i am stopping, i dont know if either of those would have ne effect on my brakes any way but they were soo close in timing that i guess i couldnt help but entertain the thought. I just rolled over 25,000 miles and my truck has had all but 1200 of those put on by me. so it has had a pretty easy life other than towing my horse trailer. has anyone had this happen before? Or possibly know what is causing it? Any help would be greatly appreciated. oh, i havent noticed any squeaking or slipping during breaking, and my breaking powere hasnt seemed to change at all. Thanks guys!:U:

You might have a warped rotor.

I could see the warped rotor but that would be more noticed at speed and would not affect the brake pedal while it was stopped. do you feel it in the floor board too if so it would most likely just be the feeling of it idleing I have the same thing in my dmax and cummins like a vibration/ pulse in the pedal/floor board. from what it sounds like babe you should be fine.:howdy:

in a dmax usually if you feel it in your brake pedal ur power steering is low

That is the ABS system giving feedback. Pretty normal on most modern ABS equipped vehicles.

so Nothing to worry about?? I havent really payed attention to the floor board but next time i drive I will see hats goin on in that dept. it just seemed like i just started to notice it and normally I pick up on changes or things like that right away. so i just didnt know y f it had been like that i didnt notice it way before now. thats the reason it worried me.thanks for all the input guys!:U:

Nope, nothing to worry about. The last Corvette I had would REALLY give some feedback when pushed hard. You would swear the pedal was going to kick back. I've owned 3 DMAX's and they do it to.
