Rocker Arms

I am need of a set of rocker arms. engine started making a ticking noise looks like it is the rocker arms, several are really bad hard to move had to use hammer and punch to remove rocker shaft, all the rest are galled pretty good. also Have at least 1 bent push rod, that one came off #1 exhaust, which the rocker did not have full range of motion by hand. Want to replace the entire set. So far I have found OEM's for about $1300, or roller rockers for $1800. My question is, are there any better prices, don't think I need the rollers, but if that is all the price difference then I would get them as long as they can be ran on a daily driver. Also should I replace the bridges also, or use them, and is there anything else I should check before replacing them. Thanks in advance for any help.

I'd look into WHY this happened are you getting enough oil to the top end ? Are you binding the valve springs with this cam? Do the rocker arms have enough travel for the cam? I know on domestic gas engines & Harley-Davidson engines when you start playing with bigger cams you have to watch these factors or failure, yes some are no modification required some will bind the valvetrain some where:c:

I am going to see if it is getting proper oil, all the rockers had oil in them when I took them off today, so I don't know. I just rebuilt the motor 5k ago. I talked to Zach @ Hamilton and he said this cam would work with all stock components.

There are salvage yards on ebay. I would look there if none here.

sounds like a cam clearence issue. basically the cams having to much lope / lift for the travel of the rods causing an impact.

is it possible they sent the wrong cam from hamilton?
