Maybe a burnt valve..

how would you check that?

Either by pulling the exhaust manifold, its hard to tell not being there and hearing the actual sound if you can maybe take a good video or sound recoding that would help, do you have any power loss?

No I don't have any power loss or smoke. I will try to get a video up Tuesday for y'all to listen to. Really wanting to stay away from high priced mechanics. Thanks.!

I dunno what it is! I guess I'm gonna bring it to dodge and pay them 90 bucks for a diagnostics fee and they claim they can tell me exactly whats wrong!

Why dont you go to a shop that actually has a mechanic... Tools, skill and knowledge..

Well I wish we had a good diesel mechanic around hear. I brought it to dodge and they looked at it and told me the injectors #2 #3 #4 were weak and they would not work on it because the injectors were aftermarket and they I guess aren't very smart. so I went and picked it up and figured it was fine to drive home beings it was just weak injectors and went two miles and blew it up literally. my brother was following me and flames blew out the exhaust and smoked white and ran for about 5 seconds and died. soo now I guess ill tear into it and try to figure out what to do :td:

Really they would not work on it because it has AFM Injectors?? damn man the excuses they will come up with. Im sorry about your truck, their has to be a reputable shop near you, does not need to be automotive shop, talk to some of the big rig shops to. I would check your turbo and check for play, and remove it. Then look at the exhaust ports and see if any have some signs of internal failure. If any do the best thing to do is remove the head and check for damage. If your engine is damaged the best thing to do is find a long block engine. In time its the fastest way to get you back up and running, and is fairly cost effective to do so.
