Ok, did you hook the rail pressure gauge up to see what the problem was or did you hook it up and then experience the problem?
Do you know about cycling the key to retrieve codes? If not, you turn the key from off to on off to on off to on and leave it in the on position the third time without ever starting the truck. In the odo window it will show what codes if any that are present. Codes can be present with or without a CEL. If no codes are present then it will simply say the word done and then go back to the odo reading. |
i'll try and retrieve codes like that today. I hooked to rail guage to try and find my problem.

I was wondering what yalls rail pressure at an idle is around? Mine goes from the high 6,000 to low 7,000. Is thus good? I was just wonderng about everyone elses

Mine normally idles at 7500 PSI.

When my rail pressure gauges reads right its around 7500 also at idle. its been giving me messed up readings every now and then and ill see 3k psi at idle
