Soft Clutch after serviced - help!

I took my pickup in this morning and had trans serviced. When i hot back in truck i had no clutch. Manager stated that he had accidently took a hose off and now ill have to bleed the lines by pumping the clutch. Ive pumped that dang thing all day and it still doesn't feel right. Its hard as heck to get it in reverse and second. Everything i read says that it can not be bled? They are sending me to another shop to have it lioked at. Whats going on.? How to fix?

What type of transmission service requires the hydraulics to be disconnected? I would think the shop should pay for a new assembly and install.....and thats coming from a shop owner.

Install a new clutch master/slave cylinder assembly would be the correct way to fix it. Without replacing it you'll never get all the air out. We've even tried a Phoenix bleeder and it wont even do it.
