leveling kit

hey guys just need some quick advice on a leveling kit for a 04 dodge 2500 2wd long bed. My grandpa wants to get a 2.5 inch leveling kit and just wondering whats the one to buy. And should he need different shocks are anything like that. Also i know a alignment will be needed but whats the most he should pay to get them installed if i order the parts let me know guys thanks.

Leveling kits I would look into ready lift.. and you might need new shocks I know some trucks a leveling ket will over extend the shocks n will have no travel.. mind if i ask why he wants to put a leveling kit on a 2wd??

well he lives on a couple acres and his driveway scrapes his bumper because he has a ranchhand bumper replacement. And what kind of shocks would you prefer for the extended travel or and i see ready lift dont sell a kit for a 2wd 04 2500.

Ahh gotcha. Well idk where ya can find one.. is try the major lift manufactures. Like bds, sky jacker, etc... And i heard bilstein shocks are good, I have rancho shocks on my rear axle. You could also maybe give procomp a look

k thanks what is the difference in the metal vs the plastic ones.

I would probably go with metal cause I don't see plastix being that great for suspension... Eapically for a spacer..
