Default egts high and never any smoke

Hi I hope I'm posting this correctly I have looked at a lot of threads and can't find my exact problem. I'm running water/meth 800cc/m with propane off, fuel at about 11 psi at wot and rail pressure is at about 28,000 psi running 40 psi boost and my exhaust gets to 1350 in a second or two if I turn off the alert it will jump up to 1600 in a heart beat :-/ about 20 mph. i still have a stock intercooler, exhaust manifold, injectors, and cp3. I am also curious if it is normal for this year make cummins to not smoke hardly at all just a tiny puff when throttle is first smashed after that it don't smoke but it runs really good. I ran a 12.4 in the quarter and think i could do better it I could get traction and cooler egts please help. how much do exhaust manifolds and intercoolers help?

Do you have an exhaust? If not id reccomend getting one either a 4 or 5 inch turbo back. What's all done to the truck? Does it have a programmer?

Also if your truck is bone stock you wont see much smoke unless you get on it from a stop or bog your truck down which isn't recc. As it wears or your internals and black smoke is frowned upon in the diesel community.

I'm running a 5" mendrel strait pipe and most of my engine is stock except bolt ons. I'm using a quad adrenalin with a boost fooler for the electronics. I don't care if i get a lot of smoke but more curious why most people with these mods get a lot of smoke and i don't? makes me wonder if I'm getting enough fuel but then the really hard to control egts would sugest in my mind that it is getting plenty. please let me know your opinions

I'm not sure :-/ what do you mean by pump tap? The only thing I have done to the pump is pull the top banjo and add a pressure gauge and a small ball valve for bleeding air off during filter changes.

A wire that taps into the pump.you'd have to search it. Im not sure what all it does. With the mods your running I could see how your Egts are high but don't know why so high.

Also 11 psi seems kinda low to me I may be wrong here. But with that quad box it needs lots of fuel. Id suggest a three piece manifold if you don't already have one. Where is your pyrometer tapped in at?

Yeah I wasn't sure about the fuel pressure :-/ I just put a new pump on it because I thought it was a bit low but the new pump didn't help I also have new 1/2" lines and filters so aside from going to a bigger pump I'm at a dead end. I really want a new exhaust manifold I'm still running the stock one but dont have the money yet I think this will probably be my next purchase. My pyrometer probe is in the manifold just before the turbo.

Is the propane on always? That would cause the high temps! Run it without propane and see what it does!? Seems to be burning perfect fuel air to be smoke free and 12's in the quarter! Instant 1600 makes me think the pyro is off! Buy a new one for a second opinion or send it in for calibration. I wish I could be smoke free! Your lucky don't change a thing!
