i did mine not too long ago previous owner only did the one by the rear diff.. so i battled both. The original i ended up using a small propane torch to heat the plastic up and then sprayed wd40 on it and beat it back and forth to loosin it up then when it finally lost the caps i melted the plastic and used a seal pick to get the rest out..

The factory u joints are have a plastic ring around them in the yoke.. kind of like a retaining don or the clip you put in to hold the caps in place.. you just take a torch and heat up the yoke and the plastic will start pushing out.. then the caps just come out with a couple wacks of the hammer... But i messed up one of the u joints so i have to wait till the the dealership is open on monday to get another..

Ok now I get it, never seen a factory joint with plastic instead of clips. If you have a vice you might have better luck using that to press the new caps in rather than hammering on them. When you get them in make sure they move free all ways if not sometimes you gotta hit the yoke with a hammer to center them.
