Fuel psi ?
I just installed a ejwa so now I can read my fuel psi. It's only reading at 10 at idle drops to 5 when I get on the gas. It seems low from what I have been reading. I have a stock lp and ip. I'd hate to spend the money on an ip if I don't have to. Any suggestions ?

YES. A airdog or FASS lift pump will help you out and save you 1100.00 bucks also.
Welcome to the site..:tu: You can put a price Quote in the (Price Quote section) and one of the great Site Sponsors will help you out. Most of the people on here don't like to see below 10 PSI at Wide Open Throttle. |
^^^^this and let me speak from experince do not buy a DDRP ....i have had 3 only because they have been under warranty and i cant afford a higher flow model at the moment :argh:
so if you have the extra funds now go a bit bigger then you think you will need!!! anything that will be SURE to keep your VP44 full of fuel |
anything under 8 psi is an ip killer....beware:scare2:

ya might try a new stock lp for now if you cant afford a fass or airdog. mine idles around 18 and its never dropped lower than 10 and i wouldnt call it wot ive gotten on it a few times but i dont dog it. my 01 is all stock im currently saving for an airdog.however if you can afford it get that stock lp outta there thats why im currently swappin ip's on my 6.5.

before you replace you lift pump replace you fuel filter first.. Suppose to change it every 5-10K if that doesnt fix the low PSI problem then lift pump needs fixed or adjusting if you have a Fass, if its stock you just need a new one.
---AutoMerged DoublePost--- When you stomp on it it should not be under 10 psi mine sits a 12.. |
Thanks Guys. installed a new AirDog 100 and now idles around 15 and doesn't ever drop below 12-13
