Rear Main Seal / Crankshaft

In the process of removing my rear main seal, I slighty scrached my crankshaft. One of the scrachs has a slightly raised burr to it.

My question is what should I do? Anyone here ever make that mistake?

Also my truck is a 6spd, so I dont want oil to leak all over the new cluch.

emery cloth it and it should be fine just sand it down till you cant feel it anymore

Thanks, is a possible to bolt up the flywheel and run the engine to see if it leaks or is that just a waste of time?

Also whats the thoughts on those sleeves for the end of the crank?

Waste of time. It should be fine unless you scratched it really really deep. But in theory yes you could run it like that.

Roger that.

Not to deep i would think no more than a 64th, heck even if that.

Thanks
