Condenser replacement
Going to be replacing my condenser tommorow. Would there be enough refrigerant in system to still run air or do you think id have to recharge it?

Taking the condensor off without doing an evac means pissed off epa. If you take it off your going to lose all your refrigerant. Then youll have to pay a shop to put a vac down on it and pay for all the refrigerant. If you dint have access to an ac machine have a professional shop do it all, you wont have to pay for expensive r134a if your not low.

Its already off, previous owner removed it.

Whoa, he just left it off? Please say the lines were plugged somehow.
You will definitely need a shop to pull a vacuum to remove contaminants, probably add compressor oil, and charge with refrigerant. That is if the compressor isn't seized up. |
:edit:. Ok.there plugged
