Trannys!! auto or manual
i have a 2001.5 dodge ram 2500 with the six speed manual. i want to know if the stock auto tranny will bult up to it. is the ho motor a diffrent bell housing than the standard becaust the ho has a bigger flywheel.. (for more torque) past that i want to know what is the best auto tranny to put under my dodge i have stock engine with 60hp injectors, quazilla 180hp tunner stock turbo and a led foot i dont want to row my 6 speed any more.. but i dont want an auto tranny to break ether..... i also need help disiding what to do? money compared to reward..

You will be in the ball park of $4000-$5000 to get an Auto that will hold up to everything.
It will bolt right up, PCM might need to be changed, and drives shafts as well. |

Much as I hate to possibly jeopardize my first in line status, that's three reasons why you may want to rethink converting.

Everyone has their own preference of transmission. I myself prefer an Auto.

i love my auto! beats a manual everytime first of all an second of all putting in drive an just going is nice an not shifting at every red light an in town is even better!

jake 94 what tranny do you have what mods and how many mile? is there a waranty on it and im in illinois. i would love to do this! any ways you guys said maybe a now pcm why? it is a valve controled tranny??
