A/C Clutch or Coil???

okay is there any clutches or coils around for these trucks? i dont wana have to buy a whole new compressor :(

Ive never found just the clutch. You more or less would be looking at the manufacturer of the compressor for that. There may be some places that have them but anymore its pretty hard to find parts to rebuild a part. Most places wont stock or sell that kinda stuff

i just want a/c and not have to replace a good compressor because of the clutch coil :'(

Not to question your mechanical ability but out of curiosity how did you determine the a/c clutch was bad? Because it won't kick on if your refrigerant is low. Ive ran into many people who think its the clutch when in reality its because the system is low.

napa has a clutch kit for them if you get the right parts person

X2 on this. Make sure the electrical of the system is good.

Alot of people assume that since there is no power at the clutch that something electrical is causing it but alot of times since the system is low the low pressure switch wont allow the clutch to kick. I hardly ever run into electrical issues when the ac doesnt work, not saying it doesnt happen but in my time wrenching I've dealt with 95% of systems low and thats why they dont work. Just a thought
