Will It Fit?

just woundering if parts for a 2002 ram 2500 will fit a 01 model, for instance the third brake light.

I Beleave the only difference Body wise is the rear brakes

Diesel Dawgs Performance 02-24-2008 03:06 PM

If you have rear disc brakes then yours is a 2001.5

Lostnwalmart 02-24-2008 03:27 PM

everything should be the same, except a few 2002's got the newer axels if im not mistaken... but its not common. but as far as body wise yes

only diff in an 01 and a 02 is they went with disc brakes on the rear in 01.5

other that that they are identicle

American Axles presided over the Dana axles in 03

listen to them because they are dead on the money:U: right

wit i thought a very few late 2002 got the aa axels in them they were close to the last of them though.

torquey 02-25-2008 04:42 PM

so a third brake light and taillights off a 02 model should fit my 2001.5 model w/ no problems, and yes i have disc brakes f&r.

No '02's got the AAM axles.

But, early '02s do have a CAD, late '02s do not.
