Egt question

I had a htpm exhaust manifold on my and had my egt probe in the port hole toward the front since I didnt have a way to use the back port. Well I had to remove the htpm manifold bc it was leaking at the front joint were it was pressed together and I put my factory one back on. My question is when the probe was in the front hole of the htpm manifold the egts runned alittle cooler and now that its in the factory manifold which its been drilled at the bank for 4,5,6 and now its running hotter and I was wondering if I couldve done any damage to the truck? I took it for a test drive an just driving it normal it would be upwards toward 700-800 and when I got on it hard it would climb toward 1200 quicker than with the other manifold. Should I be worried about it or is this just normal?

Thanks

Does anybody know what the degree temp difference is between cylinders 1-3 vs 4-6? Ive always heard an read that 4-6 run alittle bit hotter but how much hotter?:humm:
