Oil Pressure Gauge Help

My oil pressure gauge in my dash stays at one number. even when truck is shut off but key is in the on position it goes right to that number. My edge chip says i have 0!!! oil pressure but i know i wouldnt last long at all with no oil ( this has been going on for 6 months). Do you guys think that i just need a sending unit or a new gauge?

Sending unit....

confirm problem with a different pressure guage. A regular air pressure guage will work just fine. There is an extra 1/8" NPT port on top of the oil filter.

Sending unit for sure. If it was just your dash gauge, the EJWA would still show the pressure as it reads the information from the OBDII. As the good Doc suggested, try a different gauge and see whats up. Also scan for codes, as it is possible there is a wiring issue.
