New dodge owner
Hey guys I've posted on here before when I had a duramax and now i am buying a 01 quad cab short box(flat bed) cummins with a 6 speed and some other fun stuff but it has 223,000 miles and it needs a new steering gear box and some other little stuff but I had a question it has 50 horse injectors, and a stock replacement turbo that pushes a little more PSI and it isnt a 53 block and the Vp44 has 20k miles on it and had a airdog 150 installed before the new pump went on and it had a little bit of an injector stumble/stutter till it gets warmed up than goes away and I was just wondering if anyone knows a good way to maybe remedy or clean the injectors since I am new to cummins I'd like to hear some stuff from a cummins guru or well anyone whos owned one cause with my duramax i had to worry about my injectors going constantly cause it well it was a LB7 but with cummins the injectors are ALOT cheaper so just wanted to hear some advice!
Thanks, Corey
Thanks, Corey
Injectors are probably not dirty, but you could always clean them if you're bored I guess, probably wouldn't be a bad idea to get them pop tested and replace connector tube o-rings too while you're at it.
