converter will not lock up normally
hey guys, the owner before me wired in one of those converter lock up switches, and i just realized that it will not lock the converter unless i flick the switch. so does wiring in a manual switch to command lock up get rid of it locking up normally when the computer tells it to?
ok so i checked all the wiring, and it was correct except for the jumper lead thats put in place of the trans relay. i put it in the correct spot, and gave it a test run still no lockup unless i flick the switch. and sorry for the week late reply, starter solenoid took a crap, and was waiting on a new one to come in.
did they cut the wire or did they use a scotchlok type splice connector? for whatever reason, cannot cut that wire to splice the switch in... according to suncoast. how was the jumper wrong?
if you look at the link, the jumper was in the middle vertical line going to the bottom horizontal line. when i swaped it, it made no difference, and no the wire is T-tapped not cut.

I cut my wire and it has worked just fine about 4 years now. Those scotch locks are junk IMHO.
