Question 2001 2500 5.9l clutch kit?

hey guys i just bought a 2001 2500 5.9l cummins with the 6 speed tranny. Problem is when you turn the chip up really high the clutch slips in 6th gear so its going to need a new one here soon. My question is what kind should i get, what all do i need, and what else should i replace while i have the tranny out? right now the truck is sitting at 345hp and 727tq i dont plan on trying to make any more power then that so if i could find something to support that then it would be fine. Thanks for any info.

I would recommend a Valair Kevlar/Organic Single Disc Kit or a Valair Towing Nodular Dual Disc Kit.

I think a southbend 3250dd would be great or a southbend Ofe.

i really like the looks of the valair kits, thank you for the input. what about flywheels? should i go ahead and get another one? what about seals, rear main and what not. while i have the tranny out what all should i plan on replacing just to make sure that i don't have to drop it later?

I would just have your old flywheel resurfaced unless its cracked or damaged. I wouldn't touch the rear main seal unless its leaking.

Have the kevlair/ceramic clutch and I do pull a 10,000 lb camper the more wieght you put on it the smoother the clutch is. It is a little grabby when your not towing but has a really good feel of grip. Went with the heaver push on the pressure plate and hydro upgrades for a easy push clutch pedal great product

You can't go wrong with either a Valair or South Bend Clutch.
