Oil covered radiator
Now that its warming up, running down the highway my truck will run probably 5 or so degrees above the 190 mark, and especially high to my liking with a skid loader behind. Does anyone had an idea on cleaning the backside of your radiator without having to take it out? with 220k its gettin thick.

Take it out and wash it. Then search for a blow by bottle delete mod and get it done asap. Watch that damper, if its oil soaked its more prone to separate or fail completely.
Im just thinking with 220k on the clock, and you haven't replaced the coolant or the thermostat it might be a good time to do. Might also be nice to flush the radiator as well.

It is actually very easy to remove the radiator if you have the time. If you can't do so, I suggest squirting degreaser onto the oily parts and letting it sit for a while. Then use a garden hose to spray it off, the hotter the water the better. You may have to repeat this a few times to get it cleaned properly. Overall, it will take longer and not be as good of a job as removing the rad and cleaning it outside the truck.
