Default Engine Won't Fire, Just Crank. Help Needed.

My truck shut off while driving. I just previously installed the Air Dog II 165gph lift pump. My first thought was my engine fuse blown. It was good. Next, I checked to make sure my lift pump was working by pulling the supply line off the pump. Tons of fuel. Next, checked the VP44 by cracking 3 injector lines off the back. Had fuel coming out (not at very high pressure but not sure what the pressures are supposed to be out of the pump). Hooked up the OBD scanner and only had a code for Turbo Overboost no code for VP failure. Thinking that it could possibly be the Crank Sensor not showing any engine speed? Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Alot.

That is a very possible cause. Not only does that sensor tell the speed of the crank, it tells the ECU where all the pistons are to control injection timing. If the ECU doesn't see any RPM or a crankshaft position, it won't command the injection pump to deliver any fuel. Some engines have a Crank and Cam position, while others only have a Cam position sensor. I'm not sure off the top of my head of which years do and don't.
