Won't crank or won't fire? And I hope they aren't spraying ether in the turbo

Is it throwing any codes? What's fuel pressure? How do fluids look?

What year truck? If it's the 03, high pressure fuel leak. If it's the 98.5-02, VP44.

Is it the 03 in your profile? If so you may have better luck in the 03-07 CR section...

I was going to say OH NO starting fluid + grid heater = explosion.... BUT i dunno if CR trucks have heaters?

you say it wont start w/o ether i assume it will run how much blowby does it have or maybe an upstream leak in your fuel system sucking air you say new pump did you check the fittings just to make sure it doesnt take much

Seriously????
First of all if this is a vp truck has there been a fuel pressure check or any diagnosis of the vp? Did we really just talk about using starting fluid and not mention disconnecting the grid heater? Lol I've never used starter fluid too much, there's really never a reason if its diagnosed correctly.

Yes CR's have grid heaters, stock anyway.

I would agree with air getting into the fuel system or maybe a bad check valve letting the pressure drop in the line causing hard start/no start.
