Leveling Kit

Hey guys Im been curious about the leveling kits our there.

Rough Country has them for 100 bucks and sky jacker 200 bucks, I had a buddy with same truck as me except an 01 that he got the sky jacker for and he broke his track bar on the highway. He now has an 03 adjustable track bar. Ive heard that one company has a leveling kit with an adapter for the track bar have any of you heard of it??? and Im lookin at 1,5'' to 2'' kits I dont want the cali lookin lift where the front end sits higher than the rear. Appreciate the help

Paul

do you want a the full spring kit or just the spacers that go between the stock springs?

I dont think I have seen them sell together. But you should be able to pick up an adjustable trac bar for a couple hundred bucks. They make a HUGE difference if your front end is raised at all

I would also recommend longer lower control arms to center the axle again. I have a Rancho leveling kit, it came with spacers, lower control arms and 4 shocks for $500. If I were to do it again I would go with full springs like the KORE leveling kit and add control arms.

I got my kit from hell bent steel. I included the link for you

spacers would work or full spring really dont care or see the difference in them. Gettin longer controls arms proably wont be a bad Idea but I dont see how raising it 1.5'' to 2'' would hurt em...

It does make a difference my friend.

Well whats the difference to diiferent springs to just spacers?

The ride quality will be much better with springs over spacers.

No kidding! Compress the springs with the spacers and your teeth fillings want to fall out.

Yep I re-live that lesson everyday I hit a bump.....:ouch:

RanchhandTCR 03-02-2012 08:39 AM

HAHA that makes since, yea I think Ill do the spring kit...

RollinCoal99 03-02-2012 03:42 PM

its not even that bad... if your gonna be a baby and worry about how the ride is a little more bumpy with the spacers then you obviously shouldnt have a cummins sense the motor shakes the whole truck as it is..:argh:

H.R.D 03-02-2012 04:01 PM

Why be a dumbass and make it worse then it already is when you have the option to make it a little better. Sounds like you are the one who is being a baby. Just because someone else has a better solution then yours.....:humm:

RollinCoal99 03-03-2012 01:08 PM

haha true but not everyone likes spending lots of money on there trucks like you it seems. springs and spacers are different options not better solutions than others

What is that old saying-"You get what you pay for"- :numb:

Not sure why this became a pissing contest, but lets just agree to disagree.

RanchhandTCR 03-03-2012 07:08 PM

Ill be sittin here with the 12 guage. :tttt: But thanks for the imput guys, I will proably go with the full spring kit, instead of making my drive to my ranch rougher than it already is Ill do that, if you had to drive it you understand I cant drink anything withough shovin it up my nose....
