Beefin' up the tranny

Ok so I got a couple of questions. I'm gonna get a torque converter and valve body but theres so many out there and not to sure which of them is the best for the money. I'm not planning on pushing much for power probley just a smarty and set of small injectors just looking for something thats gonna hold up to the occasional abuse.

suncoast valve body the 6xx one with upgraded parts and a good triple disc converter. I like spec rite as they are local to me

Suncoast VB and DPC Converter. Single Disc will hold 500hp.

sorry to hijack this post but it is exactly what i am interested in knowing.

Ok, so i understand the valve body and triple disk converter but, to me, the other internals seem like they would be lacking as well (bands, sylenoids, etc.) do you guys recommend the "parts kit" from somewhere like Suncoast as well? I recenlty lost 2nd gear and had only the smoked band and sylenoid replaced to get me by. I have a feeling with the RV275s i'm getting ready to install and Smarty turned down to 1 or 2 im going to have issues this summer when i am towing my tractor around.
