cruise control issue
 

hey i just got an 02 cummins and i cant get my cruz to work all wiring looks good but dont know what elce to look for also the air bag light is on and dont know if this might have something to do with it not working?

Does heat control and 4x4 work?

yup everything elce works fine just nothing happens wen i press the cruise button no light nothin and im not sure if the light shud come on when i first turn on the key but it doesnt do that eather.

Most of the time its a vacuum problem, it could be a faulty switch though as well :humm:

look under the driverside battery tray the vaccum lines to cruise controol are hooked up under there and break at the connections

It could also use a clockspring assembly. I currently have the same cruise issue except the air bag light isnt on and my horn works, and so does my heater vents. :humm:

Good call! I have seen them go bad quite a few times

it was a clock spring for mine as well

hey i am having the same problems as descibed above did anyone every figur out how to fix these problems.
