No gauges HELP

Ok so i was driving along and out of nowhere i have bells and whistles going off and my gauges go dead. Where the mileage shows up says no bus and where the thermometer is says ccd. I get home shut the truck off and turn it back on twice and on the second try it showed me gauges again. i just chocked it up to the chip acting goofy. I pulled out of my driveway and hit a bump and no more gauges now they wont come back... any clues or directions to look would be very helpful. thanks.

You can try removing the chip and seeing how the truck reacts. Then you will know if it is a truck issue, or a chip issue.

ok so i unhooked the chip to no avail... so i chased every inch of wire i could and unplugged and put dieelectric grease on as many connections i could and when i unscrewed the connector in the fuse panel under the hood it all came back to life now the question is for how long...:jump::yeah:

What kind of chip is it there sometimes know to go bad after couple years and also know to fry the trucks computer but most the good brands warranty there products if proffesionaly installed so id say if it acts up again id take it in before you end up with an exspensive headache hope that helps

i have an edge comp it has given me some fits before. i did unhook it and still nothing. i know that doesnt totally rule it out however the symptom of gauge failure when i hit a bump seemed to rule the chip out. ive had the chip on the truck since 05 and it has run about fifty thousand miles.

IMO, time to go to the shop.....if the fuse was still good, some are hard to see

i think i have it fixed for now i pulled apart every connector i could get and put dielectric grease on them and when i pulled the connector apart in the fuse box under the hood they came back i hope it was just a bad connection and it is fixed but time will tell... thanks
