four wheel drive help
 

i bought the manual four wheel drive that deletes all of the vacuum setup but it didn't come with instructions and i need four wheel drive i have the old housing back on just so the axle doesn't leak
does anyone have the instructions on how to install this kit
im confused

I'll look I just did mine a couple weeks ago not sure if I saved the instructions.

Well I couldn't find them but I'll give you a basic rundown from what I remember. Had to take out my old one take out the pin to get the fork off drill a hole through the floor it said to go over one inch over and six and a half down from where the throttle cable goes through the floor but go wherever you like i didn't like it there. mount the cable I did mine on the bottom of the steering column. A little brass extension went on the far side of the housing and the 4x4 sensor on the end of that. You just have to cut crimp your wires onto the new one does not matter which way. Put the cable through with your shift fork in screw it in put in the e clips adjust in or out to make your 4x4 light work right then go test.
I know it's a little rough but that's basically how mine went in.
