OIL LEAK
 
Ok does anyone were the oil sensor is located on the motor of a 01, I noticed the oil leak and replaced the oil pan gasket but did not fix the problem if anyone has any info it would help alot. Thanks..

Where is the oil leak coming from? The vacuum pump gasket to timing cover is a popular spot for an oil leak.

I'm actually in the middle of tearing mine apart to find leak too. No oil in front of sensor looks any other sorce of a leak around my fuel filter can ester area maybe anyone?

take a look at the side cover gasket. lifter cover.

i had a mastive oil leak from the turbo drain p\tube going into the block and you couldnt really tell i took the pipe out of block and it didnt have an o ring lol replaced no more leak

Hmmmm well tomorrow takin the rig to a friends shop and installing a huge box full of goodies!!!! It's like Christmas right now.... Ill let u guys know what it was its just wierd I'd doesn't seem to b comin from that cover where everyone's problem usually is
