fuel gauge instalation
I am convinced I need fuel pressure gauge on my 01 24v. I am running am running an idiot light right now, and yes it comes on at wot. thinking about an ispro gauge with electric sending unit w/steering column mount. I would like to keep my warning light also, right now sending unit is directly on vp44, anybody have any ideas or comments about this set up, next mod will be a raptor 100 and get rid of the pos in tank pump

i highly recomend a auto meter gauge becuase i have a glow shift gauge and it sucks. you also said that you are getting a 100 rapter. with a 100 gph raper you can only make about 260 hp untill it starts going under 15 psi so unless you are only looking on having a small chip, i would go with the 150 gph. it will be good up tp anout 380 hp. it might be $100 more but its worth it in the long run.

You can make 450hp+ on a Raptor 100. Since you have the intake pump I would recommend a Vulcan Draw Straw with the Raptor.

The Vulcan Draw Straw V replaces the intank pump.

I made 575hp on a fass 95 so a 100gph pump is fine for whatever a fuel only vp will make. and you might want to save some money for a vp because if your light has come on and off while driving it may of caused some damage or you could be lucky like me and go another 75k before switching pumps thinking it was the problem and in fact it was just a bad wire in the edge.

autometer electric fuel PSI gauges are the absolute worst nothing but issues with them
those isspro gauges dont get any better than that |
if you dampen the fuel pulse the isspro seems to work fine for me. 2 years now no issues and lots of miles driven

i'v been running a electric autometer gauge now for more than 4 years with no snubber and i'v had NO issuses with.so much for them being junk.as far as the install i'v got a "T"fitting w/hose barbs on each side installed about 6in from the vp.the sending unit goes in the side of the "T".i run a FASS 150/150.had no issuses 4+ years now.as 01quadcab has said you may have already hut your vp.i'd stay off the throttle until you get a good lift pump or you'll also be buying a new ip at $1000+.
