:argh:i have a 2000 ctd stock it is throwing a code saying the map sensor voltage too high i replaced it and my turbo still isnt working and i cant get the code to go away any pointers?

What do you mean your turbo isn't working?

List out your mods, if you have a programmer or chip it might be screwing with your MAP.

its spinning freely whith the truck running and off but my guess would be that its not spooling up or something to that effect it has rough shifting because its shifting at about 2500 rpm i have no programmers or mods its all stock the olny thing ive done is switched the tranny fluid to fully synthetic but that was 10,000 miles ago truck has 90,000 miles on it

Well, the turbo spinning freely is good, it's supposed to, otherwise you'd have some good problems. Now, if it isn't building up boost, you may have a leak somewhere at your boots or the intercooler. Check all your intercooler boots and the intake. You're gonna want to install some gauges, prefereably boost, egt and fuel psi. This'll really help ya down the road, not to mention you'll always want to know what your pickup is doing.

Now, the transmission rough shifting can be a loose torque converter, loose bands, etc. I'm no auto specialists so someone else with more knowledge ought to be able to help you with that one. The synthetic switch is good, it really helps out these pickups.

i think aguilar is right about a loose boot. are you blowin lots of black smoke when your drivin around but not gettin any power. had a kid here that had that problem. the first boot goin into his intercooler come off so his turbo wasnt doin anything really. he couldnt even hardly pull a hill. we got him hooked back up and sent him down the road. fixed everything. good luck :tu:
