im lookin into getting into the diesel game and i found a 99 cummins turbo diesel 24v chipped with 190,767 miles for 9000 should i walk or jump on it. btw its a quadzilla chip and has a high performance fuel pump, beefed up auto tranny and STACKS!! all comments are helpful thanks also im am new to diesel bombers finally had the chance to join!!

 

if it's worth it to you, go for it... None of us can really say if it's worth it because we can't see it or drive it, ya know? But if it has a pusher pump, gauges, and trans upgrades you should be set.

 

it would have to be nice at that money. cab in real good shape and a newer vp and lift pump. just be careful in my opinion.

 

from what it looks like its in pretty good shape. i need a truck, cant get anywhere in the minnesota winters without one. been a dodge guy all my life. im somewhat fimilar with the truck but i need input from people who have one

 

get us some more info about lift pump and vp 44 and tranny. how old they are and brand. its not fun buying a truck then have to put a grand or so more in it.

 

diesel pap trucks around here go for good money everybody is selling cars for trucks after the first snow fall. im not worried about the condition of the truck. more or less im worried about the powerplant i will slowly put upgrades on it. whats the recommend upgrades for a dd besides chips and hp fuel pumps.

i no the feeling of buying trucks that break right away. im getting it off a dealer and will get the info on the parts tomorrow. working on getting the money for it

 

the pumps are the main thing. if that truck has the pumps already its prob worth the money. post the stuff tomorrow and we can see what you got.
