A transfer pump mounted to the block and one in the tank? Shouldn't be, should be one or the other.

If there isn't a transfer pump mounted to the block behind the fuel filter housing, its in the tank. You could call a Dealership with the VIN and see if they can tell you if it has had the intank "update".

I have some problems
 
One question that everyone usually asks first. Do you currently have a fuel pressure gauge. If not, that is the very first mod I would do to my Dodge/ Cummins.

when i do axle joints i raise the side up ur changing only to put the front axle/diff at an angle so the oil stays in when u pull the drive axle and when putting back in turn it as it slides in easier and less likely to damage seal:tu:

the winding noise can be coming from the front joint. had one of those go out on my dads truck.

Even when I'm not moving I just rev my motor and it does it
