vulcan big line kit

Just bought the Vulcan big line kit from filter housing to vp. Bought it just for grins. The installation pics look diff then what ill have to do. I just simply replace the line that ties into the lower backside of the fuel filter housing right? Kindof a dumb question but I just felt.the need to.ask. the pics I've seen the line is coming out the top of the fuel filter housing. does it matter?

I believe there is a difference in filters housings between early and late 24 valve VP trucks. That could be the difference.
I'm glad you bought it knowing it's just for grins. Increasing flow capabilities post major restriction just adds to slow pressure recovery.

On your '00 you just remove banjo bolt from the bottom of the filter housing and thread in the 90 elbow Vulcan gives you. You'll notice less pressure drop at WOT and more consistent pressure all around. I don't think you can worry about "slow pressure recovery" with a 160gph pump, I have no issues with that what-so-ever with my Raptor 150 :tu:

not you need to increase the flow into the fuel filter housing. as the stock inlet is restrictive.
