Cruse Control won't turn on
I have a 2001 that the cruse was intermintant then it wouldn't turn on at all. I have replaced the clock spring and the buttons and still nothing. :argh:Is there some fuse or something that I am missing?

I'm betting its a vacuum hose problem. That happened to mine. Turns out one of my vacuum lines were broke ( they're plastic) I put it back together with some rubber hose and wala. Fixed it.

On my 96 I have to push really hard on the on/off switch to get it to work, I'm not sure if 01 uses the same switches but if they do that might be the problem. :c:

the vac line connection that was broke on mine is under the driverside battery

I will check the vacuum lines but it won't even turn on. Not that it won't engage. I can't even get it to say that it is on. Also I replaced the switches.

Here is a diagram of the vacuum lines on the truck... I have always found this helpful.
