x2 on MAP sensor. Where does the red wire go?

Pigg 10-29-2011 11:04 PM

it threw a code of p0237

RAW 10-29-2011 11:07 PM

That's a MAP sensor code.

Pigg 10-29-2011 11:12 PM

i checked the code and it says Turbo Charger boost sensor A circuit low. Im new to this motor so could you please explain what that means and what i can do to fix it

Last time, it's the MAP sensor. Manifold Air Pressure. You would have disconnected it when you pulled the chip off. The factory engine harness MUST be plugged back into the MAP sensor. There are 3 wire in the harness for it, all go into 1 plug.

It will look similar to this. There are 3 different styles of connectors between the years of 98.5 and 2002.
