I have a 2001 single cab, auto, has tst and ts MVP on it, if I get under a load it powers out real easy, I pull some big loads and need this fixed any advise?

Also, I bought the truck as a totaled truck about a year ago, it eats rear u joints, could the fraim b bent and doing this, would adjustable traction bars help realine the rear end?

what do you mean by powers out real easy? start by checking codes. have you changed air & fuel filters recently?

Has a big air filter already. How do u check codes?

you can do the key trick, turn the key on/off 3 times fast without turning over engine and odometer will display codes, have a pen ready because they go quick... or you can go to auto zone or whoever you have close by and have them put an obd scanner on it for you... but if you haven't done a fuel filter recently I'd recommend that.

With all that stuff on it do you have a good LP with a FP gauge on it. You need to have a constant eye on fuel pressure. Shayne had a great suggestion to change fuel filter and check codes.

To your Rear end problem you need to check the pinion angle. Also did you rebuild the the drive shft your self or take it to a drive shaft shop? If it was wrecked really bad the shaft could be bent.

Thanks for all of the input I have new filters but no gage on fp, the drive shaft is the same one I'll get that checked out it didn't even cross my mind if that, thanks again :tu:
